Thamesmead is a district of South East London, England, located in the London Boroughs of Greenwich and Bexley. It is situated 9.4 miles (15.1 km) east of Charing Cross, and includes a group of disparate developments, mainly social housing, built from the mid-1960s onwards, mostly on former marshland on the south bank of the River Thames, between the established towns of Woolwich and Belvedere.

Thamesmead location between the Thames and the South London escarpment limits rail transport and road access points. Thus Thamesmead has no underground or surface rail links. Most residents rely on bus services to reach the nearest rail stations. There is a disused railway trackbed from Plumstead which once served the Royal Arsenal. Buses serving Thamesmead include services 177, 180, 229, 244, 380, 401, 469, 472, 601, 602, 669, 672, B11 and the night bus N1.

Tiger Cubz is an indoor play centre with play frames for older and younger children, laser tag area, disco room, parties and a cafe.

Lots to keep the kids happy while you have a cuppa! It has a 2 level play frame for under 4s and a larger 4 level play frame with ball pools and slides for older children.

You get value for money and with all the regeneration happening around, the potential for growth is huge. Here’s a snapshot of average sale and rental prices:
